A mother embraces death to save her twins

The woman perished on the spot, but her twin sons survived with minor injuries.

Owen and Hunter’s final memory of their mother is her shielding them from the impact of a catastrophic car accident and then closing her eyes forever. After a driver who shouldn’t have been permitted to drive in the first place crashed into their vehicle on Monday, March 1, the brave mother gave up her life so that her twin boys could escape with only wounds and bruises.

Hillarie Galazka, a mother of three from Lincoln Park, Michigan, was driving home with her 5-year-old twin boys when the accident occurred. Hillary’s Saturn Ion was plowed into as she approached the I-96 entry ramp at Davison by a 25-year-old driver who was speeding at the time.

Hillarie, 29, put herself in front of her twins and sheltered them from the huge impact of the crash in a matter of seconds. According to FOX 2 Detroit, Hillarie’s bereaved mother, Jodie Kelley, said, “Her body rescued them.” “The lads claim to have seen her open her eyes and stare at them before closing them and never opening them again. That is something they recall.”

Twins Hillarie died on the site after receiving the brunt of the blow. Owen and Hunter survived with minor injuries. The driver who rear-ended their vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision but was later found at a hospital.

“She was my greatest friend. She’s gone now,” Jodie remarked, heartbroken over her daughter’s death.

Hillarie Galazka’s brother, Jacob Galazka, stated, “I’m just grateful the babies survived a catastrophe for the family.” “All adore those kids. All adore Hillarie. She is a lovely, powerful woman with a nice heart. She didn’t deserve to die in this way.”

The driver, a 25-year-old guy, was found to be driving on a suspended license shortly after the accident. Aside from that, he had five current suspensions, two local warrants, and two past convictions on his record.

“I’m heartbroken. I can’t believe this man hasn’t spent his entire life in prison for all of his warrants. I can’t believe he was driving an SUV at 90 miles per hour, “Jodie remarked.
