Baby melts hearts listening to mommy’s lovely voice

All those expressions that sweet infant made are unquantifiable.

Let’s face it, life with a new infant may be a little overwhelming. There’s a never-ending stream of feedings, diapers, dishes, laundry, and everything else — all of which is usually completed after a night of disrupted sleep. However, even amid the craziness, there are times when all you have to do is gaze at your child, and everything is perfect.

A video circulating the internet shows a mother and her infant son sharing one of these precious moments. She sings a song about Jesus while holding him in her arms and receives the sweetest reaction. Prepare to have your heart melt.

Singing to your child is a wonderful way to establish a bond with them. While many parents sing lullabies and nursery rhymes to their children, the mother in the video below picked a worship song to serenade her kid.

The mother in the video is Michelle Figueroa-Cardenas, who is enjoying a quiet activity with her son. She starts singing the classic “Give Me Jesus” to him.

Michelle sings the following lyrics:

“In the morning when I rise

In the morning, when I rise

In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus.”

While his mother sings, the lovely boy looks up at her and grins. He clearly enjoys listening to her soothing voice and music.

It breaks your heart to see the baby’s pleased grin and wide brilliant eyes as he stares at Michelle. It reminds you of how innocent small children are and how simple moments are frequently the most memorable parts of the day.

Juan Fernando Ortega, a Christian vocalist and songwriter reinterpreted an old spiritual song called “Give Me Jesus.” It’s also a really powerful one.

Michelle sings with an angelic voice:

“Give me Jesus

Give me Jesus

You can have all this world

But give me Jesus.”

Singing to a baby is not only calming, but it is also beneficial to them.

According to I See Me!, there are numerous advantages to “infant-directed singing,” which involves changing the pitch of our voice, singing slower, softly moving or rocking, and maintaining eye contact with the child.

According to the website:

“Singing to babies enhances the relationship between parent and child while also assisting in the regulation of the baby’s arousal level—its sense of awareness and attention.” Singing may aid with feeding and sleeping by influencing the baby’s mood, which has a good impact on the infant’s growth and development.”

The video has been shared over 5,100 times and seen hundreds of thousands of times since Michelle posted it on Facebook. It’s received a lot of excellent feedback about how tasty it is.

If you’re a parent, it will likely bring up memories of your children when they were this age. These are the times you’ll never forget, whether you sang to them or held them in your arms and talked to them.

Jerry D. made the following comment on Facebook:

“It makes my eyes well up with tears.” THANK YOU, LORD, FOR EVERYTHING LIFE HAS TO OFFER. IT BRINGS BACK SO MANY MEMORIES OF SINGING TO MY CHILDREN WHEN THEY WERE BABIES AND YOUNG.”
