Giving your kid up for adoption must be one of the most challenging decisions you’ll ever make, and you can bet it’s the final option for a mother who has borne and bonded with her child for nine months.
Giving a baby to a family who cannot have one is also the greatest gift, and the mothers who do so deserve our appreciation, understanding, and respect.
Hannah Mongie began dating Kaden when she was 18 years old, and the two soon learned that they were expecting a child.
Kaden died abruptly in his sleep two days after hearing his newborn boy’s heartbeat at eight weeks old, turning Hannah’s world upside down.
Hannah made the difficult decision to place their baby for adoption after Kaden’s death.
“His heart stopped two days after he heard your heartbeat, and on the day your daddy died, I had a hard time even considering placing you with a another family since you were my final piece of Kayden,” Hannah said in a video to her baby boy.
Adoptive parents with whom I fell in love
In a YouTube video, she informed her son Tagg, “But one day I woke up and realised you were intended to be with someone else.”
Her search for an adoptive family was made even more complicated when the first couple she met agreed to accept her kid but later changed their minds. Eventually, she met Brad and Emily Marsh and “fell in love” with them, telling them she wanted to adopt her son.
Hannah gave birth to Tagg on March 21, 2016, in Provo, Utah. She spent two days with him before turning him over to his adoptive parents with tears in her eyes.
‘I adored him above all others.’
She filmed an emotional video for her son in the final few hours she had with him as his mother, so he would know that her decision was made “purely out of love for him.”
“He’ll never have to believe I’ve “given up” on him or that I don’t care about him. Hannah added,,, accompanying the video, which has been viewed by over 3 million people, “He will always be able to know that I loved him more than anyone else in this world.”
Hannah also said that she had an open adoption with Brad and Emily. Sheso close to Emily throughout her pregnancy that she now considers her a best friend. She ev. Shemily in putting Tagg’s nursery together.
Hannah stated,,, accompanying the video, “I hope everyone who watches this will be able to receive a fresh perspective on what the birth mother goes through when she places her kid for adoption.”
“It’s the furthest thing from a callous act.” It demonstrates her understanding of love. To love someone so deeply is to sacrifice your pleasure for them.”
We’re so grateful that this selfless mother may still see her son owing to his loving adoptive parents.
We send our warmest greetings for a future filled with love and happiness for this extended family. Please spread the word.
