Daycare worker fired after writing a message for mom on toddler’s belly

There isn’t a single person on this planet who isn’t busy juggling a million things at once, so it’s natural if a single mother of two misses a report from her son’s daycare.

At least, that’s what the majority of people believe.

Heather Chisum, a 23-year-old mother, posted disturbing images of her baby on Facebook.

Heather claimed Milo’s daycare in Sanibel Island, Florida, scribbled on his stomach to grab her attention.

“I believe they mentioned on his report yesterday that he needed diapers, and I missed it,” she wrote.

Heather claims that her son’s daycare places a daily report in his lunch box that describes his mood when his diaper was changed and whether he requires any assistance.

However, instead of discovering a letter on a piece of paper, she noticed a note scribbled on her son’s tummy when she picked up her children the other day.

“Mom, I’m out of diapers, please read my report,” it stated.

Heather used baby wipes to remove the marker, but it didn’t completely erase it.

“In the worst-case situation, I don’t see anything else needing to be written than ‘need diapers.'” I’m not sure why a long message had to be scribbled across my son’s stomach. OR TELL ME?!?” she added. “OR WRITE IT ON HIS DIAPER OR, YA KNOW, JUST TELL ME?!?”

The 23-year-tweet old went viral after asking friends and family if she was overreacting to the issue.

According to the director of the Children’s Education Center of the Islands on Sanibel Island, the phrase scribbled on the toddler’s abdomen was a breach of professional ethics. The daycare worker was dismissed as a result of the incident.

“We are aware of the situation at the school, and we regret the grief it has caused the involved family as well as all of our families.” “It was a violation of our professional ethics on the side of the teacher,” executive director Cindy Carter DeCosta told USA Today.

“The school has taken quick action to terminate the teacher’s employment.” We’re examining existing measures to ensure that nothing like this happens again.”

What are your impressions of the daycare’s handling of the situation? Please let us know.
