Drew Scott of ‘Property Brothers’ and his wife welcome their first child after a long battle with infertility.

After years of trying and failing, the delight of being a parent is unlike anything else. After years of disappointment, Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan are delighted to have their first child together.

Andrew Alfred Scott, better known by his stage name Drew Scott, is a well-known Canadian reality television personality. As the title suggests, he co-stars in the show “Property Brothers” with his brother Jonathan Scott.

His brother is the contractor on the show, which is about home renovations and involves him as a realtor.

Drew has often spoken about the first time he saw his wife. He claims that the moment he saw Linda Phan devouring a giant slice of pizza, he knew she was the one.

Drew remembers the first time he spoke with his future bride. “I came up to her [Phan] with my best pick-up line and said, ‘Where do I get a water?'” he recounted the meeting.

Soon after, he introduced Phan to his twin brother and co-star Jonathon and their high-school closest friend Pedro. Jonathon immediately took aback and told Drew that his girlfriend was a keeper.

“My sister and I were backstage looking for pizza and sipping some water when Drew walked up to me and asked, ‘Hey, where’d you get that water?'” Phan recalls their first meeting.

The pair finally went on their date, which they call the most extended first date in history, months after their first meeting. Drew wasn’t even invited to the karaoke party, which included dinner at a sushi restaurant, hot chocolate at a cafe, and a karaoke session.

Drew sang beautifully at the celebration, and the duo performed a few duets late into the night.

Drew had not understood his amorous side until he met Phan. He portrayed himself as a “continuous single guy who was focused on his profession and passions,” in truth.

However, meeting his wife altered everything because she piqued his romantic side. “However, Linda appeared out of nowhere, catching me off guard and entering my life. Linda, I must add, taught me what love is. “Linda brought out a side of me that I didn’t even realise there,” he explained.

He ultimately proposed to Linda in December 2016 and asked her to marry him. He then acknowledged that he had been carrying the ring around for weeks since he didn’t want Linda to discover it by accident.

He created the ring on his own. His fiancée received a 1.2-carat brilliant round-cut diamond set in a swirl-like setting that he had custom-made for her.

“Linda doesn’t wear rings very often, and when she does, it’s normally a tiny, simple, classy appearance,” he added of the ring. “For the 14-karat white gold ring, I integrated a four-prong swirl solitaire mount because I wanted to build a band with a little style.”

Drew came to New York to professionally record “Marry Me,” a popular proposal song by the musical group Train. He had it on when he and Phan were eating dinner. Later, he threw a surprise engagement party for his girlfriend.

Phan is also a part of the family business, working as a creative director for Scott Brothers Entertainment, where he oversees a variety of projects for the company’s media division.

The couple confessed they had secretly married in Nashville, Tennessee while having a lavish wedding in Italy. They reminisce about their amusing private wedding, in which they were wedded in a hot tub as the justice of the peace arrived. Rather than exchanging rings, they swapped burgers!

After they were legally married, the couple looked forward to the next stage of their lives: having children. “We’re excited to have kids,” Drew remarked. Linda and I think we’ll make terrific parents, and we’re looking forward to starting that chapter of our lives.”

Even in their Los Angeles house, the couple set aside some space for their future children. However, after two years of trying, they realised something was wrong. To obtain answers, they sought medical assistance.

According to their tests, Phan had a thyroid problem that made conception difficult. She began treatment for her illness, and the pair sought out other couples dealing with similar issues. They also mentioned that they would consider adopting a kid if a pregnancy did not occur.

The pair, however, received life-changing news in August 2021. They learned they were expecting a child. The thrilled father shared the information on social media and a photo of his wife’s baby belly.

The expecting parents thanked everyone who assisted them along the way, especially the hospital staff. “It’s been an adventure to get here!” Drew wrote in the caption. We recognise that we are not alone on this journey and that each one presents its own set of problems.”

The couple announced the birth of their baby on their podcast “At Home” on May 4th, 2022, and shared their delight with their listeners. Their son’s name is Parker James Scott, they announced.

The 8-pound, 1.8-ounce baby arrived on his parents’ fourth wedding anniversary. The pair is ecstatically thrilled.

Drew said on his podcast that now that he has a son, he is focusing more on his family. “I believe there are components of having a child that appears to change who you are,” he remarked. I still enjoy what I do and enjoy assisting other families, but a significant part of me will be here for Parker.”

We are ecstatic for Drew and Linda on their decision to become parents and welcome their baby boy into the world.
