According to our open sources, a Texas mother was shot and killed on Tuesday while visiting the grave of her late son.
Yolanda N’Gaojia was shot and killed shortly after 5 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church Garden of Memories Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. A second victim also had injuries, although they were not life-threatening, according to police.
Kineh N’Gaojia, Yolanda’s ex-husband, stated on Facebook after the incident, “I have no words because I can’t believe this is real.”
“It’s like something you’d see in a movie, but it’s become our way of life.” I can’t believe you’ve left… “How will you murder her on her Son’s birthday at his gravesite?”
Yolanda was shot and killed, according to Kineh, while visiting the gravesite of her 22-year-old son Amir, who died on New Year’s Day. The couple had three children together, and Amir was one of them.
Kineh added in a second Facebook post, “My children will never be the same again.”
“Those bullets took a priceless gem from us, but they also gave us an Amazing Angel to lead us, so know that we’re not going anywhere but up because we know how hard you rode for your family.”
The shooting is being investigated as a murder by Killeen police, but it is thought to be “an isolated occurrence.”
My heart breaks for this unfortunate woman’s family. I can’t believe how much cruelty there is in the world at times.
