Teens freeze seeing crash site becomes hero
They’re now being lauded as heroes.
Hunter Hasenjaeger, sixteen years old, and Collin Barry, seventeen years old, are heroes.
When they encountered a terrible vehicle accident, they behaved with bravery and courage.
The mishap occurred in Minooka, Illinois. The two youngsters were leaving their friend’s house around midnight when they heard the crash. After seeing smoke and two people standing along the road, they decided to investigate.

They discovered a serious three-car collision.
Alexis Danley, a 27-year-old mother, was seriously hurt. She was driving a Chrysler 300, one of the cars involved in the accident. Two persons standing down the road shouted that one of the cars had a baby in it.
The couple on the road told the lads, “There’s a baby in the car!”

In the backseat, the infant could be heard wailing.
Hasenjaeger peered into the automobile with the flashlight app on his phone. The mother was in the driver’s seat, and a 1-year-old was in the back of the car when the two teenagers arrived. Barry rescued the child from the rubble.

Hasenjaeger told PEOPLE, “My heart was beating; it was just crazy.” “All I did was keep telling the mother that help was on its way and that her baby was well.”

The teenagers are waiting for an ambulance.
Hasenjaeger tried to console the mother as Barry,, and the couple looked after the infant. Her injuries were terrible, and the teen realized she wouldn’t make it.
“I never anticipated to walk up to the mother and see her in such a state,” Hasenjaeger adds.

Unfortunately, even though paramedics arrived quickly, the mother died due to her injuries. Unfortunately, the unborn child she was carrying at the time did as well. Two lives were taken from us in the blink of an eye.

Unnecessary human life loss.
Jacob Kaminski, a 23-year-old driver, was also taken to the hospital with injuries. He was charged with various offenses connected to the incident, including driving while intoxicated.

Collin Barry and Hunter Hasenjaeger are heroes.
For the two adolescent lads, it was a traumatic event. Being so close to disaster can be terrifying for anyone. Witnessing the life of a young mother and her unborn child being ripped away is a horrific experience. The lads have been doing their best to deal with it.
“I took Collin home, then I went home and just cried to my mom,” Hasenjaeger said. That is the first time I have ever seen anything like it.”

He continues, “It’s dismal and awful.” “I brought [Danley’s] family food and a small teddy bear for the infant.” That made it easier for me to deal with it.”
The teenagers expressed their desire that everyone would remember to pray for the young mother’s family.
“Her mother is quite upset. They simply expressed their gratitude and referred to me as a hero. But I don’t consider myself a hero—I simply did what anyone should have done.”
