The doctor instructs the mother’s 12-year-old daughter to deliver the baby.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Mom says. I was thinking, “Wait, what?” No, no, no. In a million years, no way. “I’m serious,” the doctor said.

A baby’s birth causes agony, then delight, and ultimately love at first sight. With that lovely new baby aroma, babies become mushy and lovable.

Whether natural, with medicine, or via cesarean section, the childbirth process can be a little unsettling for some and breathtakingly beautiful for others.

Parents may have siblings of the new baby wait outside the delivery room or even stay at home with a relative while Mom pushes. Those who opt for a home birth frequently have their children there for the most, if not all, of the labor.

When Jacee Dellapena was 12, her mother, Dede Carraway, and stepfather Zach informed her that they were expecting a child. Throughout the pregnancy, she studied her mother, noting how her stomach expanded and how she craved specific meals.

When it came time to birth the baby, Jacee wanted to accompany her mother and stepfather to the hospital. But she ended up getting to do a lot more than that…

Dede opted to let her daughter be present for the delivery of her baby brother because she had already studied the birthing process in health class at school. The Mississippi girl was overjoyed to be a big sister and thought she’d be like a second mother to her second little brother.

However, during her mother’s labor and birth, the doctor noted Jacee’s fascination. The doctor also saw that Jacee couldn’t see much of what was going on because the table had been raised for delivery.

The doctor advised Jacee to dress up and help out, to to the tween’s amazement!

“I started crying because I couldn’t see anything because I was so short.” ‘Just put on some protective clothing and come assist me deliver the baby,’ the doctor said. Are you kidding me? I thought to myself. “Are you telling the truth?”

The eighth-grader put on scrubs, wriggled into a pair of enormous adult medical gloves, and braced herself for the most incredible experience of her young life.

Dede was taken aback by the obstetrician’s decision to let her daughter witness her give delivery.

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I was thinking, “Wait, what?” No, no, no. In a million years, no way. ‘I’m serious,’ the doctor said. ‘I’ll help her with her hands and everything.’ So she went in and found herself in the thick of everything.”

Jacee concentrated on the baby’s arrival, grabbing him without dropping and then cutting his umbilical cord. Dede had wanted to be in the delivery room for the birth of her other brother Zayden 18 months ago, but she didn’t think she was old enough.

On the other hand, Dede felt more at ease with her daughter’s participation this time.

“She’s received sex education in school.” There was no reason for her not to be there, in my opinion. Nothing is hidden from her. I believe that the human body is natural, and there’s no reason she shouldn’t learn about it at home if she learned about it in school… It was worth it to see the expressions on her face.”

Jacee told everyone that she was unconcerned about whatever she had witnessed or experienced. She was nervous, too, because she didn’t want to make an expensive mistake.

“I was a nervous wreck,” she said. At the same time, I was worried and surprised. I was afraid I’d make a mistake or perform anything incorrectly because there are so many things that may go wrong.”

Jacee’s stepfather, Zach, recorded his stepdaughter’s unique expressions on camera. He lingered in the shadows gladly so Jacee could fully immerse herself in the event.

“He gave Jacee a lot of his unique bonding time with the infant that he would have spent with the baby.”

The tween was overjoyed at what she was allowed to do in the delivery room, and she and her younger brother now share a particular bond.

“I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It was like, oh my goodness, I just delivered a kid, and it’s my baby brother, and I’m going to tell him about it when he’s older. “I’m looking forward to it.”

Of course, there have been some who disagree with Jacee’s observations, and they have no qualms in sharing their views on a Facebook post by Nikki Smith, while others have stated that it is “none of their business.”

“I’m so happy Jacee is famous all across the world!” Although some of you may object to her assisting in delivering her baby brother, this beautiful moment will be remembered by both her mother and herself for the rest of her life. If you don’t like the post, scroll down; there’s no need to remark or criticize. Birth is a natural occurrence, and there’s nothing wrong with her allowing her daughter to be present for it. It’s not for everyone, but Jacee was a rockstar who even assisted in delivering a baby! I’m not sure about you, but I wouldn’t have done it if I were 12!”

Tina Davies confessed that she was taken aback when she first heard about Jacee.

“I’m not going to lie. I was taken aback and found it strange at first. But after looking at the photographs, I realized it was merely my conditioning that had made me feel that way. This has only recently become socially taboo since the development of hospitals. It’s not the fault of nature. It belongs to us. Mom and Jaycee deserve praise. “I was moved to tears by the images.”

Please look at Jacee’s facial expressions in the images and tell us what you think!
