Prince Harry shuts down Meghan Markle’s breakup rumours amid divorce speculation

The Duke of Sussex feels awful for the online bullies who criticise his marriage to Meghan Markle. Prince Harry addressed speculation about his marriage to Meghan Markle during a meeting in New York on Tuesday. Harry, 40, discussed a variety of issues, including his curiosity in the royal’s personal life, during a 35-minute interview with journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin as part of The New York Times Dealbook Summit 2024 at Jazz at Lincoln Centre. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s union sparked speculation recently when the couple began appearing separately at engagements, with royal experts predicting divorce.

“I Google News-ed you, and there are people who are always fascinated by what you do. “They’re fascinated by Meghan, who is currently in California, and you’re here,” Sorkin explained. “There are articles everywhere explaining why you’re organising independent events. “Why don’t you do them together?” Prince Harry responded, “You should have known because you invited me.” He continued: “You should have known this was going to happen.”

When Sorkin asked if the couple’s popularity was a “good thing,” Harry said it wasn’t, citing rumours about him and his wife. “Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times,” he joked. “We’ve supposedly divorced about ten to twelve times. So it’s like, “What?” The Duke of Sussex felt sorry for anyone who believed the rumours that his marriage was in trouble. “It seemed that we have bought or changed houses ten or twelve times. We’ve allegedly divorced maybe ten or twelve times. So it’s like, “What?”— Prince Harry

“It’s difficult to keep up with, which is why you just kind of disregard it. “The people I feel the most sorry for are the trolls,” he remarked. “Their hopes are just built and developed, like, ‘Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,’ and then nothing happens. So, I feel sad for them. Honestly, I do.” It’s unclear whether the Sussexes were working independently or in the process of separating, Kinsey Schofield, host of the “To Di For Daily” podcast, recently told Fox News Digital. “Last summer, Rolling Stone ran the story, ‘Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are in Their Flop Era,’” she said. Since then, the Sussexes have not made any noteworthy progress. Is their flop era still technically in progress?

“I won’t commend Prince Harry for his networking prowess. “I expect better than that,” she remarked. “But if we continue to see Prince Harry work away from Meghan Markle after the new year, I believe it’s okay to debate what a professional divorce means for the couple personally.” In 2020, over two years after their Windsor Castle wedding, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to California and resigned from high-level royal duties. Meghan and Harry, who are parents to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are anticipated to attend the Tyler Perry tribute event at the Paley Centre for Media on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
