She believed the dog had several bites, but the doctor examined it more closely and called the police.

Hayden Howard noticed that her dog wasn’t feeling well a few years ago.
While she was inside, Jackson, her English Mastiff, was playing in the backyard. When she called him in, he looked like he had insect bites all over him.
However, following closer study, she discovered that the situation was far worse. In reality, Jackson had many gunshot wounds.
“I was completely shocked; I didn’t know what to think,” Hayden told WXIN.
When he realised Jackson had been shot, he quickly hurried him to the veterinary. After inspecting Jackson, the veterinarian discovered a considerable number of little rounds shot from a BB pistol.
“There was one trapped under his eyelid, one in his ear, one in his knee; they were everywhere,” Hayden recounts. “
The veterinarian had to shave practically all of Jackson’s fur to remove the countless plastic shells. He had to leave 20 rounds and withdraw 27 bullets.
The veterinarian also detected 20 more gunshot wounds in Jackson’s little frame.
He’d faced over 70 bullet wounds.
“I have never seen an animal shot that many times,” Assistant Chief Craig Hayes of the Seymour Police Department said. “It’s a very bad case, and it’s sad to see.”
I can’t believe someone could do such a horrific thing to a dog, especially when the dog has never hurt anyone.
Police were looking for the individual suspected to be the source of the shooting, who was believed to be in a neighbouring garden.
They immediately learnt that a neighbour’s house contained a weapon and ammo.
According to the Daily Mail, police seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his home, as well as a BB gun and pellets.
I sincerely hope that the perpetrator obtains a lengthy prison sentence and suffers the repercussions of their conduct.
Sincerely, I believe they should never approach an animal after leaving.
Jackson, according to Hayden, is recovering well despite his tremendous trauma.
